FAQ

The subscription plan last for a minimum of 12 months and becomes month to month after that. You can cancel at any time after the 12 months have passed, but you keep the site but lose the features of our subscription plan. You'll then need to pay $25 a month to keep the website hosted through us and pay the remainder of the lump sum amount not paid through the 12 month contract. Failure to pay the remainder of the lump sum or the monthly hosting fee will result in the website being taken down.

You will have to sign a new 12 month minimum contract.

If you cancel before the 12 months, you will owe the full cost of the website lump sum cost ($3750) minus what you have already paid. If you want to have us continue to host your website for you the $25/mo hosting fee will still be required to pay. We prioritize a long term relationship with our clients and want our clients to share the same philosophy.

Every invoice comes with a 7 day grace period to be paid. If an invoice is not paid within 7 days, there will be a $25 late feed applied. If you're on a subscription plan, an there are multiple monthly invoices that are overdue for months, we can cancel the contract and the client will be responsible to pay the full price of the website. In general we will try to be flexible and understanding, but if there is no communication or attempts at payment we have to take certain precautions to make sure we are paid for our time and effort in making the website.

We handle our invoicing via Square and will be sent via email. The email will originate from Square and take you to Square's secure payment platform to take payment. Subscriptions & Lump Sum payments are paid with a credit or debit card. We do not accept checks or money orders.

The $100 additional fee per page is a one time payment.

When you sign a contract, if we cannot design & build you a website that you are happy with and no longer want to move forward, then we will refund whatever you paid to get started. If we do move forward with the project there will be no refunds after that point.

The monthly payments will continue indefinitely. Your contract will continue on a month to month basis after the 12 month minimum contract period ends. You will continue to be able to fully utilize the benefits of the subscription plan.

The biggest difference is being able to spread out the cost of having your website built over a long term period of time. With the subscription plan, over the long term you will be paying more over time but in manageable monthly payments and you get to continue to have our full support and unlimited edits. The lump sum plan lets you just pay for the site up front and you get to save more money, but fees like hosting costs and the unlimited edits addon if requested will be additional monthly costs.

Yes and no. SEO ultimately comes in two forms, On Page SEO and Off Page SEO. On Page SEO is included in the website build and we will make sure that your website is optimized for search engines. Off Page SEO is everything not on your site that helps to drive traffic to your site such as link building, social media, guest blogging, digital press releases, content marketing, etc. We do not offer Off Page SEO services, but we can certainly help guide you in the right direction. We can and will help you with getting your Google Business Profile setup and guide you with improving it.

We will not build an e-commerce site off of our base lump sum or subscription plans. However, we are willing to work with you to build an e-commerce website but will be under a custom pricing plan. Contact us for more details.

Yes, you will always own your domain. If we purchased your domain for you as part of the contract, we will transfer the domain to you. We do recommend letting us handle purchasing your domain as part of the contract so we can ensure it's always paid and never expires from the yearly fee.

Generally we can finish a website within 4-6 weeks. A lot depends on how quickly you can provide us with the content and image requests.

No, otherwise we would be essentially working for free. There are some caveats, if you have been on the subscription plan and want to cancel after the contract ends we will bill you for the difference of the total lump sum website amount of $3750 minus what you already paid. If you do not pay the difference, we will take the website down. If you want to keep the website up and running, and do pay the remaining balance we can continue to bill you the $25/mo hosting fee.

Yes. We will never hold your domain hostage. If we purchased your domain for you, when you cancel the subscription we will transfer the domain to you.

No, it will take time for your website to be indexed by Google and show up on the front page. It takes time for a new website to be fully indexed and ranked properly. This can take up to generally 6-12 months. Investing in Off Page SEO services and Google PPC ads could help to reduce this timeline some. It also depends on how competitive your market is and how many other businesses are competing.
